OLIVER P. DAVISON,

Representative from Oakland county in 1847, came with his father's family to Davisonville, Mich., in 1831, but subsequently settled in the town of Highland, where he owned a fine water power.  He was in 1845 the first postmaster at Highland Corners, and served two terms.  He was also a justice of the peace.
