I. ROY WATERBURY
Representative from the second district of Oakland county, was born October 2, 1869, on the farm in Highland township, Oakland county, where he now resides. His early education was acquired in the public schools of that community. He was married in 1892 and has always followed the occupation of farming. Politically he is a republican and has served his township in the offices of clerk, treasurer and supervisor. He was elected to the house of 1899, 1900 by a vote of 2,568 to 2,146 for William Smith Seaver, democratic peoples union silver candidate, and 165 for Albert Van Tine, prohibition.
