As noted previously, Cora J. Leonard, the daughter of Jonathan Clark and Amelia E. (Haff) Leonard, was given a short ride on the first train to ever pass through Highland. She later married June 27, 1888, Charles Wesley Gordon. The photo below, taken April 19, 1931, shows Cora and her husband (at right) with Cora's brother, Mark J. and his wife, Bertha (Davison) Leonard (at left). Young Clinton B. Leonard, the son of B. Franklin Leonard, is in front of his grandfather and great-aunt.
