Dolly (Castle) Rowe, wife of Squire W. Rowe, is pictured below on the left. She was born at Mendon, New York, on March 13, 1817, the daughter of Samuel and Rachel (Brown) Castle [1].
[1] - It is unclear if this Samuel Castle is the same as Judge Samuel Castle of Parma, Monroe County, New York, who was the son of Abraham/Abram Castle of Roxbury, Connecticut. While the locations and time frames are consistent, the wife of Judge Samuel Castle is said to have been Ruby Seeley; not Rachel Brown. Any information on the Castle ancestry of Dolly (Castle) Rowe would be appreciated.
