BACK TO THE FAMILY PHOTO ALBUM PAGE When Davis Beach sold Maple Grove around 1910, Ulysses and Edith (Huff) Beach purchased their own farm on the south side of Spring Mills Road (now M-59), just east of the railroad tracks. The photo below shows the family's home as it appeared in the mid-1930's, looking south from M-59. The two story portion was reportedly built in 1846, while the one story portion on the left was a former wagon shop that was moved from Spring Mills and attached to the original home in the late 1800's.
