Eugene Huff Beach, the fourth child of Ulysses and Edith Beach, was born at the farm on Spring Mills Road (now M-59) on October 9, 1918. This photo, taken circa 1924, shows the entire family. Standing (from left to right) are Clara Mae Beach, U. Sidney Beach, Jr., and Louise Helen Beach. Young Eugene is standing between his parents.
