Finally, in the spring of 1905, Joseph V. Hagadorn moved one last time, to this home in Highland Station.  Located on the south side of West Livingston Road, just west of Milford Road, the dwelling still stands and has been lovingly restored by its recent owners.  Little over one year after occupying the house, however, Joseph V. Hagadorn died on August 17, 1906, and was buried at West Highland Cemetery [Note 1].  His widow, Sabrina (Lockwood) Hagadorn, would thereafter die on January 8/9, 1911, at the home of her son-in-law, Bert Wardlow, and is buried beside her husband..

[1] - There is also a gravestone with the name Joseph V. Hagadorn in the Green Oak Union a/k/a Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Green Oak Township, Livingston County, but it apparently bears no dates of birth or death.  Since his second wife and several of their children are buried in the same cemetery, this may simply be a stone to mark the family plot.
