BACK TO THE FAMILY PHOTO ALBUM PAGE Fire struck again in January, 1906, when sparks from a passing train badly damaged both the Needham factory and home. Undeterred, the family quickly began rebuilding the factory that March. Two years later they acquired a frame house in the Upper Peninsula, dismantled it, and had it shipped to Highland for reassembly. The photo below shows both the new factory and home, looking south from East Livingston Road. Notice the family gathered on the front porch.
