Original Highland Township Landowner Nicholas H. Bennett NE pt of NW F. 1/4 of Section 3 This man is thought to be the Nicholas H. Bennett who was born in 1801, died in 1856, and is buried in Byron Cemetery, Byron Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan. Note the Samuel H. Bennett who also an original Highland Township landowner and the Ebenezer Bennet (sic) who appears on the 1840 Census for Highland, either or both of whom may be related. |
