Original Highland Township Landowner Oel B. Chambers NE F. 1/4 of SW F 1/4 of Section 18 W pt. of SW F 1/4 of Section 18 Oel B. Chambers was born January 24, 1808, in Vermont, the son of James and Miriam (Taylor) Chambers. The family came to Michigan and settled in Hartland Township, Livingston County, Michigan, where they appear on the 1840 Census. Oel B. Chambers married Charlotte R. _____ and died October 19, 1888, at Handy Township, Livingston County.
