Original Highland Township Landowner Abram C. Taggett E 1/2 of NW 1/4 of Section 9 SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 9 NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 9 Abram C. Taggett a/k/a Tagget was born August 16, 1812, and died July 13, 1901, at Caro, Tuscola County, Michigan. He married first Hannah Crocker Davis, born 1813 and died 1862. He married second Mary Moreland, born 1825 and died 1893. Abram C. Taggett was a merchant and had a store at Clyde, Highland Township. He was also one of the founding member of the Methodist Church of Highland. |
