Original Highland Township Landowner William M. White This is believed to be William Morgan White, the son of William and Amy (Wells) White. He is probably the man who, with wife Angeline, was said to reside in Highland Township, Oakland County, Michigan, at the time they purchased land in Section 25, Tyrone Township, on March 26, 1850. Notice that Alfred White, the brother of William Morgan White, purchased adjoining property in Section 8 of Highland Township the same day. |
