Original Highland Township Landowner Cornelius G. Wickoff Cornelius G. Wickoff a/k/a Wyckoff is mentioned in Thaddius D. Seeley, History of Oakland County, Michigan, page 494, as having settled in Section 6 of White Lake Township, Oakland County, where he built a log cabin in August, 1833. There is no evidence he ever settled on his purchase in Highland Township. |
