This photograph shows the interior of the Clyde Methodist Church after the installation of electric lighting. In 1923 the church at Clyde was reassigned to the Holly parish, while that at Highland Station was joined to the Milford parish. Two years later the church at Hickory Ridge was closed and sold. Finally, after some 80 years, the church at Clyde was closed and its congregation merged with that in Highland Station in a "Service of Unification" held in November, 1967.
