Under the leadership of Supervisor Louis Oldenburg, a new town hall was constructed in 1953. Located on the west side of North John Street, this building has grown substantially over the years, incorporating other buildings or additions which once housed both the library and U.S. Post Office. The photo below, taken in 1992, shows the Town Hall much as it appears today.
