Louise H. Beach became a teacher and taught in a one-room school house in White Lake before moving to Dearborn.  On September 2, 1931, she married Rev. Samuel Carson Weir, a noted Presbyterian minister.  Sam and Louise lived in Dearborn, but spent their summers in Highland at a cottage on the north shore of Harvey Lake.   The couple had two daughters: Jeanie Louise and Janet Beth.   Louise Beach Weir died on August 21, 1973, followed nine years later by her husband.  Both are buried in Highland Cemetery near the graves of Louise's parents.  Seen below are (left to right) Louise (Beach) Weir, Janet Beth Weir, Jeanie Louise Weir and Samuel Carson Weir.
