The Davison home, known as "Cedar Lawn," was a lovely example of late Greek-revival architecture.  This photograph, taken circa 1900, shows the front-facing pediment of the main section, with its bold cornice and wide frieze.   The offset front door is graced by narrow sidelights and flanking columns.  The one-story wing on the east side, with its sawn wood fencing over the eave, may have been added later.
