Raymond J. DeGarmo was married January 20, 1914, at Davisburg, Michigan, to Mila B. Munger, daughter of George and Charlotte A. (Muir) Munger. She was born November 16, 1892, in Rose Township, Oakland County, Michigan. The couple had 11 children, i.e.: (i) A.D. DeGarmo, born October 19, 1914; (ii) Garnett Larene DeGarmo, born August 11, 1916; (iii) Burhl Munger DeGarmo, born April 26, 1918; (iv) Rena May DeGarmo, born March 22, 1920; (v) Ruth Cornelia DeGarmo, born April 16, 1922; (vi) Don R. DeGarmo, born and died October 24, 1924; (vii) Jay Rockwell DeGarmo, born September 1, 1926; (viii) Duane Muriel DeGarmo, born April 12, 1929; (ix) Dorothy Mila DeGarmo, born April 12, 1929; (x) Charlotte Effie DeGarmo, born and died April 14, 1931; and (xi) Leon Ivan DeGarmo, born July 3, 1934. Raymond J. DeGarmo died on July 26, 1949, while his wife, Mila B. (Munger) DeGarmo, died August 31, 1970. The family portrait below was taken circa 1933 and shows (standing, left to right) A. D. and his mother, Mila, (seated, left to right) Larene, holding Dorothy, Ruth, Rena, Jay, and Raymond J. DeGarmo, holding Duane (twin to Dorothy). Son Leon was born after this photograph was taken.
