Edwin A. Leonard, the oldest son of Jonathan Clark Leonard, was born at Highland on January 13, 1862. He married January 18, 1883, Margaret "Maggie" Arthur, the daughter of Robert and Jane (Crooks) Arthur, by whom he had three daughters, i.e.: (i) Pearl Leonard, born 1888; married Owen Nacker; (ii) Iva Dale Leonard, born 1884; married Joseph Henry Lemmon; and (iii) Marguerite C. Leonard, born 1903; married Burchard Hair. The photo below shows (left to right) Margaret, Edwin and their daughter Pearl.
