Edwin A. and Margaret (Arthur) Leonard lived on this farm on the east side of South Hickory Ridge Road, just south of M-59. The property was originally owned by Highland pioneer Eber Adams and later by Oliver P. Davison. The barn was built in 1904. The windmill visible behind the house pumped water into a large tank in the basement. It then flowed by gravity to the barn. Margaret (Arthur) Leonard died on May 12, 1946; Edwin A. Leonard on November 11, 1954.
