Mark J. Leonard, the second son of Jonathan Clark and Amelia E. (Haff) Leonard, was born September 3, 1863, and died December 18, 1939. On April 19, 1893, he married Bertha Davison, daughter of Benjamin F. and Sarah S. (Wells) Davison, pioneer settlers of Highland Township. See the Davison-Armstrong Family Photo Album. Bertha (Davison) Armstrong was born October 5, 1869, and died October 11, 1957. The couple are seen here in this photo of a Davison family gathering, taken in 1902 (back row, fourth and fifth from the left).
