Yet another early Spring Mills residence was this home on Lot 32, Block 3, originally owned by Joseph Frost Stratton, the brother-in-law of Enos Leek.   Stratton and his wife, Roseanna (Haines) Stratton, were among the first seven members of the Methodist Episcopal Society of Highland Station, which held services in the Union a/k/a Highland School.  Joseph F. Stratton died in 1882, followed by his wife in 1890.  In the fall of 1891 the home was purchased by Wilhelm F. and Louisa (Schramm) Huff, who brought their family from the Province of Posen, Germany, to settle near their relatives, Peter and Rosina (Schramm) Kunkel.  For more information see the Huff Family Album.
