Original Highland Township Landowner LeRoy a/k/a Lorenzo LeRoy Armstrong SW pt of NE F. 1/4 of Section 3 W 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 5 NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 9 LeRoy a/k/a Lorenzo Leroy Armstrong was born February 15, 1815, at Fabius, New York, the son of Erastus and Roxanna (Stowell) Armstrong. He settled in Hartland Township, Livingston County, Michigan, and served as Hartland's township supervisor. He died at Hartland on September 25, 1893, and is buried at West Highland Cemetery. He was the brother of Charles Armstrong who was also an original Highland Township landowner. |
