Original Highland Township Landowner Francis Beaumont NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 12 Francis Beaumont was born October 26, 1810, at Rodnorshire, England, 26 Oct. 1810. Upon coming to America he located at Penfield, Monroe County, New York where, in 1837, he married Maria Roseboone. The family removed to Michigan in 1841 and appear on the 1850 Census for Highland. Francis Beaumont died on April 6, 1891, at age 80 years, 5 months and 10 days. At the time of his death he had 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. |
