This photo is of North John Street, looking south toward the old Methodist Church which can be seen in the distance. To the right is the old school bus garage, now incorporated as part of Highland Middle School. To the left are buses parked at the "Kindergarten Cottage," now the parking lot of the Kensingston Valley Credit Union. This portion of John Street remained unpaved into the late 1960's-early 70's.
