In 1923 Charles E. Needham assumed the management of his father's pickle works, so his brother, Richard Needham, took over the store.  Richard and his wife Evelyn thereafter operated the store until 1933, when the business was sold to Clayton Rourke. Shown in the photo below are (from left to right) Mary Ellen Needham, Lewis Weaver, who was the butcher, Clayton Rourke, and two unidentified employees.
