Edith (Huff) Beach died suddenly at her home in Highland on May 26, 1946, and is buried in Highland Cemetery. Her husband, Ulysses S. Beach, survived another fourteen years before passing away on May 9, 1960, at age 86, and is buried beside his wife. This photo was taken on January 1, 1954, as family and friends gathered to celebrate "Ulie" Beach's 80th birthday.
