An Oliver Baldwin appears on the 1840 Census for Troy, Oakland County. A James Hickey is also found the 1840 Census for Troy and is likely Baldwin's co-purchaser of the parcel in Section 12 as well as the James S. Hickey who purchased land in Section 5. |
