Measuring 30 by 40 feet, the building was a classic example of late Greek-Revival architecture. It featured a low pitched roof with a front-facing open pediment, accented by a simple but bold cornice and wide frieze. The rough fieldstone walls were set off by dressed stone quoins at the corners while lintels of dressed stone topped the door and window openings. Since many of these architectural details are likewise found in "Stone Rowe" - built around the same time - one wonders if the same builder was responsible for both.
