After the 1911 fire Hulbert's store was rebuilt on the same site. The photo below shows Sid Hulbert standing inside his new store, surrounded by merchandise. Goods like those shown must have been in great demand in the small rural community of Highland Township since Sid had to compete with the Keller and Waterbury store, and later the Needham store across the street. Note how every inch of space, even the ceiling, was used for storage and display.
