The photo below shows the building that housed the Highland P.O. a/k/a Highland Corners post office, located on the southwest corner of Hickory Ridge Road and modern-day M-59. Before the 1900's this store was operated by Will and Anna (Davison) Gonne. John Whitney also operated this store at one time. It would later become "Tom's Place."
